The growth in trade with Asia and the US is opening up new possibilities and great business opportunities for the Nordics team.  In response to customer needs, DER-Trans Logistics will leverage the unique strength of the CMA CGM Group’s extensive logistics network in Europe and internationally and its comprehensive offering of maritime, rail services, and its experienced team of Ocean specialists.  

The ocean freight market in the Nordic countries is growing steadily.  In the last 12 months alone, imports have increased by around 10 percent and exports by around 6 percent.  The most important destinations for Nordic exports are the US and China, with particularly strong growth in the automotive and industrial sectors.  

In imports, China is the largest trading partner, with growth driven by significant changes in consumer behavior.  In China and the United States, DER-Trans Logistics is among the largest logistics operators and has a high position in serving these sectors.
