DER-Trans launches operation in Pakistan through joint-venture with local agent partner

MARSEILLE, FRANCE – Aug. 31, 2021 – As part of its development strategy, DER-Trans Logistics has formed a new joint venture with its agent’s owner in Pakistan. The new entity will operate under the DER-Trans Logistics name starting Sept. 1, 2021.

 

DER-Trans Logistics in Pakistan

The newly created entity will operate out of the former WAC offices in Karachi, Lahore and Faisalabad, which will be fully branded as DER-Trans Logistics. The entity’s head office will be at the Karachi location. The new business will enable customers in Pakistan to leverage DER-Trans Logistics’s global, multi-modal network and will offer them seamless access to a world-leading range of services covering inbound and outbound cargo movements. DER-Trans Logistics will offer customers in Pakistan a full range of air, ocean, ground, contract logistics, project cargo and Customs clearance facilities.  

 

Flexibility and visibility in Fashion and Retail

With its industry expertise and knowledge of the garment industry, DER-Trans Logistics’s factory-to-floor solutions enable the customer to focus on growth while achieving flexibility and reducing non-core costs. At the same time, DER-Trans Logistics’s systems can deliver the crucial visibility demanded by manufacturers to ensure competitiveness in the marketplace.
